1. Ceramsite concrete is light in weight, its dry bulk density is 800 --- 1900KG/M3, which is 2/3-1/5 lighter than ordinary concrete, and its label can reach CL5---CL60. Because of its light weight, it can reduce the foundation load, thus reducing the weight of the whole building;
2. Ceramsite concrete has good thermal insulation performance and small heat loss. The thermal conductivity of ceramsite concrete is generally 0.2 --- 0.7KCAL/M.0C.N, which is more than half lower than that of ordinary concrete. Therefore, the thickness of the wall can be reduced, the indoor width can be increased accordingly, and the thermal insulation performance of the room can be greatly improved under the condition of the same wall thickness. 3. Ceramsite concrete has good impermeability. The surface of ceramsite is rougher than gravel and has the ability to absorb water, so the bonding capacity between ceramsite and cement mortar is strong, so ceramsite concrete has high impermeability and durability.
4. Ceramsite concrete fire is good. Fire test results show that its fire temperature can reach more than 3 hours. The fire-resistant temperature of ordinary concrete is generally 1.5-2 hours.
5. Ceramsite concrete has the characteristics of strong construction adaptability. It can not only prepare concrete materials with different bulk density and strength according to different uses and functions of buildings (according to the structure or load-bearing structure used for thermal insulation), but also has simple construction and is suitable for industrial production of various construction methods, it can not only use prefabricated process to produce various types of components (such as plates, blocks, beams, columns, etc.) but also use cast-in-place mechanized construction.
